In a touching gesture, the Brazilian has congratulated Messi on winning the long-desired World Cup with Argentina despite the rivalry between the two countries.
“Congratulations, brother,” Neymar wrote on Twitter, attaching a picture of Leo with the World Cup golden ball and trophy.
Fair play from Neymar who was unlucky to not make it further at the 2022 World Cup. Perhaps the forward will have another chance in 2026.
