Dembele subbed off before half-time in World Cup final, his foul led to Messi’s goal

In a desperate move, Didier Deschamps made two subs before half time in the World Cup final against Argentina, with France 2-0 down.

Barcelona’s winger Ousmane Dembele was one of them. Hardly anyone would argue against the coach’s decision considering how bad Dembouz was in the first 40 minutes.

Ousmane gave away the penalty which led to Messi opening the score. The 25-year-old also lost 7 balls, failed to win at least one of his 5 ground duels and completed just 8 passes.

Jules Kounde continues on the pitch
