The January transfer window reopens in just a little over two weeks as the second half of the 2022/23 campaign gets back underway.
While Barcelona are not expected to be very active in the market, there are still a lot of rumours surrounding their business.
Luke Shaw. The defender is out of contract with Man United in summer and, according to Sport, he could come in handy for Barca.
N’Golo Kante. Barca are said to have advanced in talks to sign the French midfielder on a free.
Joao Felix. The Portuguese is closing in on an Atletico exit in January, and Joan Laporta seems to be a big fan of his talent. Felix’s estimated value is €50m, although Atletico would likely want to sell him for a higher fee, as his contract expires in 2026.
Josip Juranovic. The Catalans’ priority is to reinforce the right-back position as soon as the opportunity presents itself. The Croatian estimated value is €6.5m at the moment. Even if his price tag goes up doubles, he will still be a bargain.
Goncalo Ramos. Barca would have to spend at least €65m to sign the Benfica striker after his impressive World Cup campaign, as per Fabrizio Romano
Juan Foyth. Villarreal’s right-back is said to be Xavi’s personal preference for the position – mostly for the experience of playing in La Liga. The acquisition of the player would cost at least €40m, Mundo Deportivo reports.
Sergio Busquets. The Barca veteran has just announced his retirement from international football and, according to Fabrizio Romano, could leave for Inter Miami in January
Hector Bellerin. The defender has little to no chance of staying at Barca beyond this season. Should a suitable offer come in winter, Barca will willingly accept it.
Memphis Depay. The Evening Standard says that Chelsea ‘could reignite interest’ in the striker after his decent World Cup displays. The Blues were after him in the summer but opted for Auba instead
