Barcelona are set to receive a tidy sum from FIFA at the end of the World Cup.

The Catalans will get around €3.88 million for their 17 players involved in action in Qatar as part of the organisation’s Benefits Program, Mundo Deportivo reports.

In addition to that, Barca will earn more revenue from players that had been a part of the team at some point over the past two years.

Lionel Messi, for one, was a part of the squad during the 2020/21 campaign. As such, the club will receive a total of around €3,256 for each day he spent in Qatar. After all the maths, the total amount adds up to €117,216 which will be handed out to Barca
