Reigning champions France will look to book a place in the finals of the FIFA World Cup 2022 when they take on surprise package Morocco in the semi-final in a matter of minutes.
And, manager Didier Deschamps has released the official lineup that will be taking the field for Les Bleus against the Moroccans, who have been the surprise package of the tournament.
Barcelona duo Ousmane Dembele and Jules Kounde feature from the kickoff for France against Morocco. The pair have been pretty much ever-present in the starting XI for Les Bleus throughout the tournament and have been retained in the semi-final clash.
Kounde starts at right-back once again, a position he is growing comfortable in. The Barça ace is partnered by Raphael Varane, Ibrahima Konate, and Theo Hernandez in the France backline. Dayot Upamecano misses out due to an illness. Hugo Lloris mans the goal as usual.
Moving into the middle of the park, Youssouf Fofana gets the nod in place of Adrien Rabiot, who is also down with an illness.
Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni partners Fofana in the centre of the park, with former Barcelona ace Antoine Griezmann completing the trifecta.
Dembele slots in on his usual right flank while danger-man Kylian Mbappe, who is the joint-top goalscorer at the World Cup, starts on the left. Olivier Giroud spearheads the French attack against Morocco.
