Ramos bamboozled everyone watching the World Cup when he replaced Cristiano Ronaldo in the playoff game against Switzerland and scored a hat-trick in Portugal’s 6-1 win.
Before Ramos, no player had scored a hat-trick in a World Cup knockout game for 32 years. In fact, no player at the ongoing World Cup has registered a hat-trick before the 21-year-old.
Last summer, Benfica were open to selling Ramos, but only PSG showed serious interest, per Fabrizio Romano.
However, no one, including the Parisians, was willing to pay the €45m price tag placed on his head, as Portuguese top reporter Pedro Sepulveda told Sky Sports
