Barcelona had three players involved in the game, Jules Kounde and Ousmane Dembele for Les Bleus and Robert Lewandowski for Poland. Here’s how the three Blaugranas fared.
🇫🇷 Dembele was very solid going forward, recording 2 key passes, one dribble and one shot on target in his 76 minutes on the pitch. The winger also assisted one of Kylian Mbappe’s goals.
🇫🇷 A right-back again, Kounde was rock-solid against Poland. Gold-chain Jules made 3 tackles, won 6/9 duels and completed 53/60 passes and 1/3 long balls.
🇵🇱 Lewandowski did all he could, but this Poland team played too cowardly to overcome a team like France. The striker was useful on both ends of the pitch with 1/5 shots on target, one key pass, 4 clearances and one interception. Robert also scored a penalty right before the final whistle.
Lewandowski will now head home while Dembele and Kounde will face the winner of England v Senegal in the quarters.
