According to Mundo Deportivo, versatile Barcelona right-back Sergi Roberto has fully recovered from his injury and is in line to return to training imminently. The La Masia graduate will be available for the Blaugrana’s first post-World Cup clash against RCD Espanyol.
Roberto sustained a dislocated shoulder during Barcelona’s La Liga clash against Athletic Club on October 23 and has been out on the sidelines ever since.
Not part of the World Cup squad for Spain, the 30-year-old had been working on his recovery and is now said to have completed his rehabilitation completely.
Roberto has travelled to the United States of America to make use of this mid-season break before the season resumes.
And having recovered from his injury, the versatile star is expected to return to training with the rest of the Barça players who have not travelled to the World Cup in the coming days.
Meanwhile, Franck Kessie is another player who is recovering from an injury. The Ivorian, who is being linked with a January exit, has been granted a few extra days off to recover and will rejoin training later than the aforementioned group.
