Players to receive 3-week vacation: Barca’s plan for World Cup break revealed

On November 8, Barcelona play their last match before the World Cup break. The team will train together on November 9, after which most of the players will be free to join their national teams.

The players that won’t be summoned by their national teams, as per Javi Miguel of Diario AS, will be given a three-week vacation by Xavi and will return to training only on December 1.

The likes of Hector BellerinInaki Pena and even Ansu Fati could benefit from this mini-vacation. Sergi Roberto and Franck Kessie, on the other hand, will continue working on their recovery in the gym for now.

Once back, the players will have a training programme similar to a pre-season one. Xavi wants the Catalans to be at their best once the league season returns on December 31.

As for the players that will feature at the World Cup, once eliminated, they will be rested for up to a week before returning to training at Barca.
