Barcelona are set to sign Ruben Neves as early as January next year, Sport say.
Neves is considered a player who could become a long-term replacement for Sergio Busquets.
The club feels it’s best he arrives before next summer to understudy Busquests for some months before the veteran leaves the club.
Neves will enter the last year of his contract next year and could be sold for a cut-price by Wolves if he hasn’t extended his contract by January.
The Portuguese midfielder is currently worth €40m, per Transfermarkt.
