According to Relevo, Barcelona’s negotiations with Gerard Pique over new terms of his contract have stopped.
The two sides can’t find an agreement and it’s not clear when and how the talks would resume.
After Barcelona found that Pique’s contract, signed in October 2020, has ‘signs of illegality’, the defender has reportedly expressed desire to cancel it and lower his salary.
