Barcelona risk seeing new signings Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen both leave if they are not registered in the La Liga squad before Saturday, 13 August, as per ESPN.
Neither have been registered by the La Liga side so far, with only days remaining before their La Liga season starts against Rayo Vallecano.
There is an exit clause in both Kessie and Christensen’s contracts that entitles them to leave for free if not registered in time.
Barca are even yet to register Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha and Jules Kounde as well as Ousmane Dembele into their squad.
The La Liga giants will probably have to sell some players and activate a ‘fourth lever’ in selling a club asset to gain the revenue needed to register these players.
