Barcelona have told Mika Marmol that he’s free to leave the club, either on loan or a permanent transfer, per Ferran Martinez.
This comes after Barcelona went all out in the transfer market and signed two new centre-backs in Jules Kounde and Andreas Christensen.
Marmol is a left-footed centre-back who has been rising steadily with Barcelona Atletic. However, establishing himself with the senior side has proved elusive for the 21-year-old.
There are numerous offers on the table for the promising defender – Cadiz and Girona are said to be the most interested.
The arrival of more big names at Barca is clearly suppressing the chances available to youngsters like Marmol, but on the flip side, it makes Barca a more competitive side in Europe.
