Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel on Saturday confirmed Marcos Alonso asked not to be in his squad to face Everton in the Premier League, with the 31-year-old Spanish left-back now expected to complete a move to Barcelona.
Alonso has made over 150 appearances for the west London club after joining from Fiorentina in 2016.
