Joan Laporta won the Barcelona presidency in March last year and he’s already signed as many as 15 players!
In fact, we can even draw up a strong starting XI of players signed by Laporta in just two summer transfer windows.
Here’s what it will look like:
We add players like Nico and Inaki Pena who were drafted into the first team after Laporta became president.
This summer, Laporta’s administration have spent nearly €200m bringing six players to the club. They include Lewandowski, Kounde, Raphinha, Kessie, Christensen and Torre. However, Christensen and Kessie arrived for free.
And let’s not forget the signing of Xavi as manager, which seems like a master stroke.
