Ousmane Dembele – 9
Dembele was unstoppable on the day as he continued his impressive pre-season form. Tormented defenders with his movement and set up a number of big chances with his pinpoint delivery. Scored a great goal after some impressive movement and link-up lay with Raphinha.
Raphinha – 8
The Brazilian winger was a menace on the left wing and linked up really well with his fellow forwards. Set up some major chances with his smart final third passes and played a cheeky pass to set up Dembele’s goal too.
Frenkie de Jong – 7.5
In his first start of pre-season, De Jong proved why Barca should keep him this season. He helped them dominate the midfield battle as well as progress the ball from the backline really well. Crisp with his passing and looked nice in the final third as well.
Memphis Depay – 7.5
Depay also continued his good pre-season run with another solid outing. He troubled defenders with his runs in the final third and showed great hunger to chase down a seemingly lost ball and cause a mix-up for his goal.
Eric Garcia – 7
The centre-back got a lot of minutes under his belt and was arguably the best defender for Barca. Came up with some clutch clearances and challenges to avert danger, as well as moving the ball forward superbly.
Alejandro Balde – 7
The young left-back proved why he should start more games for Barca this season with a sizzling performance. Made some blistering forward runs, dribbling past players at ease and set up some promising chances too. Defensively solid too.
Robert Lewandowski – 4
Lewandowski put in a lot of effort and created some nice moves, but his finishing was really off today. Missed a number of key chances, including some really easy ones. He seemed nervous in the final third and was unable to open his Barca account.
