A recent report from ESPN has offered an update on the club’s exit policy ahead of the new season.
With just a few weeks remaining until the 2022/23 campaign starts, Barcelona have a major task on their hands of offloading fringe players as they look to balance the books ahead of the new season.
The report suggests Barça are ready to listen to offers for right-back Sergino Dest. But in addition, the club are also open to offers for other players in the team including Memphis Depay.
Although the Dutchman was one of the players to have travelled with the squad to the United States this month, the attacker has fallen out of favour at Camp Nou, especially following the addition of Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha.
With not much prospect in the first-team next season, Barcelona are looking for offers for Depay, who had already rejected a move to Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the summer.
The report from ESPN indicates Barcelona are now in talks with Juventus over a move for Depay. They have only held preliminarily talks with the Italian giants, though, and there is a long way to go before any can materialise.
