Chelsea are angry with Barcelona for hijacking their move to sign Jules Kounde, according to Sport.
The Blaugrana are in pole position to sign Kounde from Sevilla – a player Chelsea wanted to sign and even tabled a bid for last week.
As payback for stealing Kounde from within their grasp, Chelsea could block Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso from joining Barca. Both players have been strongly linked with a move to Camp Nou.
In fact, Thomas Tuchel openly admitted that Barca are continuously trying to sign Azpilicueta.
Barcelona needs a left-back, which explains their pursuit of Alonso. However, they could use Kounde at right-back, meaning that Azpilicueta isn’t really needed.
