Barcelona add spice to the Clasico by reminding Real Madrid of their 4-0 win

It may be a mere friendly match between Barcelona and Real Madrid that is coming up in Las Vegas, but the Catalans have added some spice to the occasion by aiming a sly dig at their rivals.

The Blaugrana’s official social media accounts posted an image of the scoreboard from their most recent meeting at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu when they came away victorious by a score of 4-0.

“The last time we faced each other,” read the caption along with a photo of the scoreboard and a emoji of someone containing their laughter.

The Catalans appear to be taking the game very seriously, as the post follows shortly after president Joan Laporta featured on a Las Vegas billboard to tease his rivals.

The 4-0 win

The last meeting that the post referes to was played last March and the result was a resounding victory for the Catalans thanks to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang‘s brace and goals from Ronald Araujo and Ferran Torres. The victory brought great joy to the long-suffering Barcelona fans, who saw their team overcome their rivals in emphatic fashion.
